FAQ
frequently asked questions
-
What should we wear?
Anything goes on Friday and Sunday; summer camp attire, your favourite costumes, dress up, dress down, whatever you feel happiest and coziest in.
Wedding day is semi-formal attire: suits, dresses, or cocktail attire is welcome. Please keep in mind that we will still be outside for the majority of the day, and our reception tent is on grass so stilettos and pointed heels will be hazardous, we don’t want any broken ankles!
-
Is there a gift registry?
We are not registered anywhere for traditional gifts.
If you'd like to contribute to our dreams, a monetary gift would be cherished. Or if you have a physical gift in mind, we are excited to learn what it is!
We're so excited to celebrate with you! Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for.
-
Is there parking onsite?
Yes, there is parking onsite, but we do recommend carpooling whenever possible. We are hoping for a great turnout and that means we’ll use up all the onsite parking available.
-
Are there safes in the rooms for valuables?
There are not safes in the rooms and most of the dorm room doors don’t lock.
It is only our wedding guests onsite, there will be no ‘outside’ people onsite except venue and catering staff.
-
Will we be mostly inside or outside?
The ceremony and reception will be inside and we have contingency plans for excessive heat and/or snow.
Some activities will be outside, like bonfires and yoga. We will have to walk outside between buildings, so please keep an eye on the weather and pack accordingly.
All buildings are heated and there are working fireplaces in almost all of them.
We’re hoping for perfect weather and planning for the worst weather :)
-
Should we bring our own liquor?
Nope! We won’t have anywhere to store it and will be providing beverages for the weekend.
-
What should we pack/bring?
Find our printable camp packing list HERE.
-
Can we smoke onsite?
Smoking is prohibited outside of the designated smoking areas. This is a children’s summer camp. Please be respectful and never throw your butts on the ground or in the firepit ~ we will be stuck picking them up after you.
Stay in the smoking areas only and use the ashtrays.
